A "political action committee" (PAC) is a very important part of the legislative process. The SSAI-PAC is a monetary fund set up by the founding members for the purpose of making political contributions to candidates in elective office. All contributions are made voluntarily. By pooling individual contributions through SSAI-PAC, we can have a greater impact on political campaigns than any one of us could be acting alone. Equally important, our contributions serve as a reminder to lawmakers that the light industrial staffing industry is both politically aware and actively involved. A board consisting of a Chairman, Executive Director and Treasurer leads our PAC. All contributions collected are in turn contributed to legislators who will work to advance our legislative agenda. SSAI-PAC donations help insure access to key decision makers who will determine the light industrial staffing industries future. PAC contributions are not tax deductible or charitable.
