SB 228
We have continued correspondence with Senator Althoff to ensure that we are involved in any further negotiations of SB 228 which redefines certain aspects of the Day and Temporary Labor Act. SSAI is opposed to this legislation in its current form, right now it is on hold until further notice/negotiations.

Amends the Day and Temporary Labor Services Act. Defines "employment of a skilled nature" as employment with respect to which an employer performs an advanced application process, a screening process, which may include processes such as advanced testing, and a job interview. Provides that "day and temporary labor" does not include labor or employment of a skilled nature.
