SSAI is always on the lookout for harmful legislation
SSAI is always on the lookout for legislation that can be harmful to the temporary staffing firms regulated by the Day and Temporary Labor Services Act.
Such is the case when the Illinois Workers Compensation Commission proposed new paperwork requirements for staffing firms to report work comp insurance information. The requirements were intended to affect only employee leasing companies however our industry fell into the requirements also. Using a proactive stance we met with the Commission and the requirements will no longer be implemented.
